You are going to need an Easy Baked Beans Recipe for the summer and this recipe for baked beans is perfect!
A cookout isn’t a cookout if it doesn’t have a few side items for me such as Potato Salad, Macaroni and Cheese, Grippos Potato Chips, and Baked Beans. You are guaranteed to all of these items on my plate come cookout time. My family is notorious for throwing barbecues. Of course, there are the holidays such as 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Father’s Day. When it comes to my family we will throw a cookout just because it’s nice out. Everyone has to bring something to the table and the one side dish I look forward to every year is my Auntie Val’s Easy Baked Beans Recipe. Let me tell you how she makes these delicious easy baked beans.
My Auntie Valerie is an amazing cook! This woman took some canned baked beans and add a bunch of love to them. First, she cooks about a pound of ground beef, onions, green bell pepper together until the meat is cooked through. She mixes the beef mixture within the canned baked beans. She adds a lot of spices such as pepper, onion and garlic powder, and brown sugar.
My Aunt Valerie is a genius in the kitchen!
Finally, she bakes it in a warm oven for about 20-25 minutes to allow all the flavors to get to know one another and for those sugars to caramelize. Well, you probably could make these baked beans on the stove top, but no one in my family likes stove top pork and beans. Maybe this recipe would be okay. You could actually probably eat these baked beans as a meal with some cornbread. GENIUS! That is how good and wholesome this easy baked beans recipe is!
